I've been to a wonderful party!
I can't put it better than Noel Coward. What a fantastic time I had yesterday!
To cap it all off I have been to the Fracture Clinic this morning and seen the dishiest Orthopedic Surgeon you've ever met! Brazilian? Argentinian? With a verrry slight accent. It's a good job Allan was with me to hold me down :-))) Anyway, he nearly fell off his chair when I showed him what I could do with the shoulder. And when I asked him if that was "normal" he said "very abnormal" with a tone in his voice that said "I've never seen anything like that speed of healing in my life!" He demontrated - "at twelve days I would expect this" and bent his arm in two and rotated his elbow in a circle of less than a foot. Pah! I can rotate my entire arm right round the shoulder joint - tee hee. He did tell me that I have bruised a minor nerve, which is why I have a very minor lack of motor function for some movements, and I'm having a CT scan soon just to make sure everything else is in the right place.
Anyway, back to the party!

Was there any reaction to the Rolls pulling up a Micky D's front door? Wonder who they expected to come out when the chauffer opened the door for you? *lol*
Maybe the cute doctor will prescribe something new for his next broken limbed patient. Presuming movement would not make a break worse, you are a poster child for exercise's being a good healer.

There was considerable amusement and amazement from the other customers - all part of the fun!
Jean it might be worth breaking my leg myself to get back to see the cute doctor again!
I planned it, and Superhubby organised the day (who else!) and did a fantastic job making it all run smooth.
Of course you know already that I was expecting Stardust as a present. It occurred to me watching it that you probably aren't aware that almost every role in the film is played by a household name from the UK. The man who turned into a goat, both the other sister witches, the witch with the palomino pony, all the brothers, the lightening buyer, the lead pirate (not De Niro of course - we all know him, though possibly not as a transvestite pirate captain!). Even the grown-up father is a guy who plays a detective in a very popular a TV series. It makes it an even more special film, as if it isn't good enough already!

Got to watch that film didnt fancy it at the time but sounds realy good..I cant wait to see the new one out 3000BC(?)im a sucker for special effects.
I made everyone sick today at my first aid course telling them about the time's Polo broke my nose,it popped back in when I grabbed it so refused to go to hospital.Also the time he burst my eye socket.This time I was taken to hospital, much to my protests,turned out the wound was impacted with his hair so good job they made me go.
Needless to say I dont think anyone on the course will be rushing out to book riding lessons:)

I wasn't aware of all the actors' backgrounds. That must make the film even more fun for you.
Stardust is just a "feel good" film with a clever story, great acting, and real entertainment value. It really is a wonderful movie.
Now, my question is, did SH enjoy it too. Was it too much of a "chick flick" or were the action scenes and adventure enough to satisfy him as well?
SH loved it - we only saw it because we misread the listings and when we got to the cinema the film we wanted to see wasn't on, so we went in the first one at the right showing time! We both loved it, and it is very good fun knowing all the actors.
