Another one

Good chest, nice straight legs, sweet face. Weakish hocks, normal in a big young draft cross will get much wider apart with work. Strong feet. Obviously likes being with people.

Jazz is getting better and better at canter/walk where I pick the spot where we are going to walk before we take canter. I'm very pleased with him.

Zippy is getting better at the left canter lead and after a struggle to get him to understand, he did two nice ones and a complete circuit of the barn in reasonable balance. That's a tough act for a 5 year old in that space.

We are having trouble co-ordinating a viewing at the moment but it will happen soon.

That's another big solid looking fellow. Again, he looks really cute. Don't know about the hocks, but you probably know more about that in those breeds than I do. This guy looks to be a bit heavier breeding than the other one.

Good for Jazz. That is a hard exercise to master, but it is a lead in to the flying changes.

And Zip...cantering indoors. Quite an accomplishment. Maybe, in secret, he is proud of himself.

Do you mean heavier than the bay in Peterborough? He may be, but in the high definition photos he looks like it could all be hair. If you mean heavier than yesterday, it's the same horse :-))) Again, in high def he's obviously got a lovely strong back and a decent length of neck.

Both, actually. Heavier than in yesterday's photo and heavier than the horse in the ad.

Somehow his legs look thicker from this angle. And, when you see his chest, it appears quite broad. Do you think it's the hair? The other guy does have that clip.

I still like him a lot. It will be interesting to see how he moves and whether in "real life" he looks "put together" well with the potential for overall balance. I think he is from the pics, but these people have no clue how to take a good conformation picture of a horse.

So, when do you go to see him??? Huh? Huh? Huh???

Certainly he looks lighter in the photos of the proper definition, as if he has a very furry coat. The chest looks very promising, as does the set of the neck and the strength of the back. I am very concerned about the size, but we'll see how he rides and looks - on Sunday morning :-)

That's certainly the hope Mandeigh. I'm terribly predisposed to like him, so I'm taking SH with me to keep my feet on the ground.

Buttie's little ruggy has arrived and it is almost as deep as it is long - he's going to look like he has his skirt tucked into his knickers!
