All in one piece

George is well, all in one piece with four cool hard legs. He looks very happy!

I finally got both the time and the motivation to ride Jazz, and we had a little hack around on the hilltop just across the road. Tomorrow I plan to take him round the farm ride and see how he feels about jumping after his enforced layoff.

Summer is here with a vengeance and the horses are lovign it. I've even had to start suntan lotioning Jazz's white nose already. I hope George's lovely black coat doesn't fade!

I'm still smiling today over yesterday's experience. I think George is probably quite the best cross country horse I've ever ridden at this stage of his training(sorry Tetley, but your early efforts weren't as competent as George's!).

I keep flysheets on my guys for the summer. Keeps the fading away and protects them from the bugs.

Uhm, Caroline, I think you are in love.....*G*

I think George may be in love too. He has found his passion.

George loves his job. I love the way he has restored my confidence in myself as a trainer and given me back my nerve after a horrible fall - who wouldn't :-) ??

I woldn't bet on him not being able to read ML, just a good job his toes are too big for the keyboard :-)

If I had your bugs I'd rug without a second thought Jean. Being up here where there are far fewer of the darned things, I like them to have the feel of the wind in their hair, so George will just have to fade if he's going to :-(
