In case you missed it ..
My comment from yesterday
OK Jean, Nicola and Anne have made it £30 between them. I'll be emailing them the Button story and some unbearably cute pictures. Make it £50 between the rest of you before Monday when Button arrives - and I'll blog for everyone 3 months. Make it £100 (just over a fiver each for the rest of you who posted - and surely there are some lurkers out there?) and I'll commit to the whole year. Now there's a spring sales bargain!

ps Button Stop Press
He has been made Spinal Research mascot and you are going to miss the pictures of him at Bradwall One Day Event in a pink saddle and bridle unless you keep me writing!
We've just bought him this, perfect Spinal Research hot pink!:

Thanks for link, have donated a tenner via the justgiving site. Does that mean I'm now eligible for a Buttons update??!
Louise
Most definitely Louise! Expect your first photos on Tuesday.
We've just bought him this - (Saddle Up official colour is hot pink!)

OMG - Poor boy isn't going to know what's hit him! Perhpas you should rename him Ken?
Louise
Ah Bless thats so cute!
Cant work out if I was having a blonde moment last night or just really tired cos I though you'd put the wrong link up and had really bought a eventing prospect for the summer!{doh}
Hey I could down and back him for you.... he's probably a better size for me than my boys and I could mount from the ground for once :)))
Never put two and two together Anne ..another blonde moment:0
Count me in! This is fun!
Gorgeous horse on your page!
ML
OK Caroline, you win! I have donated £10 + gift aid.
Look forward to lots more from the boys and supper hubby.
Judith
Supper hubby :-) I rather like the sound of that! He's a pretty good cook as it happens.
Thanks for the donation Judith and ML.
A little reward for your efforts - Sonia said on Wednesday that Jazz is working at Elementary/medium and will be advanced/medium by the winter because he is improving so fast.
C.
Ah yes ML, I didn't realise that Tetley was famous with Saddle Up too until I started to check how much money we had.
C
Wow that is so awful it is brilliant I am sure he will look fabulous in it lol
By the way Jazz Elementary / medium you are so lucky / clever cant make my mind up well done anyway. So what do you want to do in the future? Eventing or Dressage with him or do a Ruth Edge and both!
As you say, the tack is so awful it will actually be funny, especially as he is so very tiny. Mum is a miniature, Dad a full size Shetland, and he has taken after his mother. Isn't he a fantastic colour dun though - with a great thick dorsal stripe too.
I'm certainly lucky, Jazz is a fabulous horse, but Sonia says I ride well too :-)
I don't think that he will ever jump a cross country course without others to follow. And even if he will, it would probably be because I ask him to and not because he loves it, and that's not right. So he can stay as a part time hunter and dressage horse. I don't know how much we'll compete, it's the training that I find such fun.
I have some great hunting photos and I think we've made the £50 so I might just post them..... but not until we've given everyone who is going to a chance to make a donation.
Thanks so much everyone so far, it is really good of you all, especially at this time of year and in this economic climate. I'll try and make it worth your while.
Tomorrow I'll explain why I bought Button. It's not entirely madness, though very nearly!
C
OMG, that is really pink. Button is going to look adorable. Here in the US, pink is the color for breast cancer research. Interesting. It is a great color for causes, though as it is very memorable.
Hope Button doesn't blush too much. It might clash! *G*
