Hate to say it, but those were the kinds of temperatures we had just before Christmas and on New Years Eve and Day. I think it explains why I couldn't ride. Totally miserable.

My sympathies. The worst part is the frustration of taking proper care of the horses. That's where my heated buckets came to be so useful. Fortunately, SO FAR, the water spigot in the barn has not frozen. It's kind of a gravity feed thing so the water drains back down below ground level when it's shut off. (I need to make sure the hose is disconnected.) I am just keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way.

Sending you WARM wishes as I await a snow/sleet/rainstorm over the next day or so. *sigh*
