He wasn't in a mood for posing today, he just kept following me around the yard every time I stepped back to get a better shot. And the sun was so bright across half the yard that it's ruined both of them. But I think you can see how much less his ribs show, how he no longer has a shoulder blade sticking out at the front, and how his backbone is filling in. He does have huge hip bones, so you can't take too much notice of those, they always stick out like wings. They need more covering, but they'll never look "rounded", they're like Gary Lineker's ears. I wormed him this morning, the first day I have really been confident enough that chemical wormer would not upset him.

Zippy came in looking fine last night. It fills a bit overnight and goes down during the day. It is still draining yuk out of it, but the cut itself is getting smaller and smaller. It was at least half an inch deep and an inch long two days ago and is now less than half that. Infected cuts don't reduce in size, so it's not infected, it's just sloughing off dead stuff. He must have done himself a real injury for it still to be doing that.

Jazz is fine. Tia is all clean and ready to be loaded to go for her vetting and jumping trial. Keep those fingers crossed!
