Diving for ponies.
Buttie wins the prize for pony diving :-) !!
I feed sugar beet in quite large quantities and I soak several days of pellets at a time. So the bucket is quite large. And pellets are very desnse, so you use a lot of water and not too many pellets. Which means that when you having almost finished filling the bucket full of water, it's pretty deep.
Buttie strolled over to check the process out, then quite deliberately took a deep breath and plunged his head right into the bucket so that he could grab a mouthful of pellets off the bottom. He was, quite literally, up to his eyes in water.
You should have seen the triumphant look on his face!

ps two more inches of snow today. Snowing again now. If I can't get the lorry out to hunt tomorrow there will be steam rising from this blog, I'm warning you!

Next he needs to try bobbing for apples. You've got to try it!
Ml I am almost sure that if we had a swimming pool and I threw an apple into it, he would jump in to fetch it. What a shame we'll never know!

Pellet bobbing, Mary Lou? I do like the bobbing for apples idea. That would be so cute. I guess he has no fear of water. *lol*
The snow is bumming everyone out here, I'm sorry to hear it's frustrating you too. Hopefully it will clear up and the roads will be fine for the hunting trip. If not, I'll just turn down the thermostat here and let your blog heat my house.
