Why?
Does Radar canter disunited a lot of the time around the farm ride? There is nothing I can tell wrong with him, but he does it every time we go. What's that about?
Does Jazz find half pass left more difficult than half pass right, but travers right more difficult than travers left. If you see the two movements plotted on paper, they look as if the horse's bend and movement should be almost identical.
Three brownie points to whoever can answer these critically important questions.

Sounds as if Jazz's hindquarters are more flexible than his shoulders or at least flexible in opposite directions. While travers does look on the surface like a half pass, it does lead with the quarters...a no no in half pass. Switching from shoulder in to travers and back again might coordinate his front end with his back a little.
As for Radar...well, his front end is Radar and his back end is radaR. He canters disunited for the same reason Tucker does when he's on the lunge. Just because.....he can. It's too much of a puzzle for me.
Mmmm. Food for thought - I will contemplate the "more flexible back end than front end" for a while and see where it leads me .....
Radar - because he can. Yup, that does it for me :-) !
