Just what the doctor ordered
Now THAT's masde me feel better! I was beginning to feel all sorts of little aches and niggles, rather nervous about hurting myself, and very much as if I was fifty years old. And one session of cross country on George has cured me completely :-)
There's nothing to say really. He was thrilled. I had a great time. We jumped a load of stuff and had a jolly good gallop. Three people came home with grins on their faces and life is good!
I'm now going to enter Eland 1m cross country for 10th August for George, Wilmslow novice one day event (tiny) 17th August for Jazz, Dean Row open XC 24th August for George and Draycott affiliated pre novice for 31st August for George. Tomorrow we take Jazz back to Beaver and see if he will behave this time, and repeat until bored if not. Three tests in a row. It will be interesting!

And she returns with both arms!! Well, that is certainly good news.
Having a solid horse under you can do wonders for anxiety. Three more cheers for George! Hasn't he had about a thousand now?
Guess you are back in full swing. I am very interested in what happens with Jazz tomorrow. I'd think by test #3 he certainly should settle.
I hardly noticed the arm! George is worth his weight in gold to me this year. I'd never have recovered from two serious injuries in such a short time without him.

interestingly, i was just reading a thread on EE, katriona (casey) has a plate in her wrist and they're going to have to operate to take it out as it's causing pins and needles, and a couple of other people piped up to the same effect! so i guess you've had a good surgeon as well as a good healing body!
I don't anticipate getting anything worth videoing Mandeigh!
Funny you should write that Claire, I was just telling SH today how I can give myself pins and needles down my little finger if I use my arm at a particular angle. I probably want them to take the plate out sometime in the future anyway. If I break my arm again it would be better if it was in the middle. The ends of the plate are so close to my wrist and my elbow joint that it would be real bad news to break it there. I'm going to ask the surgeon what he reckons when I go in two weeks.
Great I knew he'd look after you...he loves the job too much to do anything bad!:))))

He never touched a thing and he only hesitated once at a fence with a roof and once into the water off a drop. But only momentary hesitations, nothing else.
