Right first time
I was right first time. This is flu. I have a temperature well into the hundreds and I can't even manage to fetch myself a mug of tea. Thank goodness SH is around. I haven't even seen the boys since yesterday morning.

Oh no! I am so sorry. I know, in reality,there is no way you could have caught it from me, but it is really ironic.
Lucky you have SH there. I am not so fortunate so I had to slog slowly and painfully out every day to take care of the Boys myself. If you stay in bed perhaps you will recover MUCH faster than I did
My good wishes for a super fast recovery.
I've only once ever had flu....it was really crap...I barely managed to get myself to the loo and back, its knackering, not to mention the cough and vile gunk the cough brought up.

I feel for you if you dealt with this and three horses with no help. It's five thirty and I only just have enough energy to go and get the boys in, but I am on the up.
Too true Mandeigh! There are people who call any cold they catch flu, but not me. I had it when I was 14, with a psychedelic range of halucinations of being mown down by herds of white horses, then ten years ago, and now this time. I'm coming up reasonably fast now though, which is just as well because SH seems to be sinking at the same rate :-(

Oh dear not another one...got to be a 'cyber virus':)))
I had glandular fever when I was 17 and was hallucinating that the TV had jumped off the stand and was smashed to piece's on the floor,my Mum came in cos i was sobbing and said but its fine its still there on the stand.I could see it broken AND on the stand...very strange feeling.
Had proper flu a few years ago and I couldnt leave the bed for nearly a week so I dont know how you manage Jean!

oh dear. had a feeling when you said you were being sick ....at least they're at home and you don't have to drive anywhere, that's even more horrid...
Get better soon. Lots of liquids (or so my Mum used to say!?!)

Current status is that at least the barn kind of got mucked out today. I'm sleeping with a towel - not some weird personal deviance :-) - I have to keep mopping myself down all night or the bed gets soaked!! I might manage a quiet ride tomorrow if I had a quiet horse!

ohh dear... two people with the flu in the same house. nightmare...
hope the boys are ok without you!
Be careful of riding!!! My doctor said the virus had enlarged my liver and spleen and a trauma, like something happening when riding, could cause a very serious injury!!!!
Well that might explain what's happened to my digestion and why I feel full even though I haven't eaten much in days!b The warning came too late though :-)
