Pocket rocket.
Jetset George is well named! He was called Jet after the black gemstone of course, but now it suits him in both ways - he's fast now he's fit! We went for a some interval training and I finished a third run on a full gallop and boy did he go for it. We had a lovely hack too, though he jogged on the way out he was pretty darned relaxed on the way back. I'm getting far too fond of the little chap :-)
I had enough time left to try some lengthened strides with Jazz. He is getting the idea slowly and I am being careful not to upset him mentally or unbalance him physically by asking for too much of a movement that he is not naturally built to produce with ease. I think when they happen they are going to be spectacularly powerful, and the seeds are definitely there now.
Our competitions today were rained off and it looks like more tonight!

Still dry here but rain on the way. Sorry about your outings, but it seems you had fun with George anyhow.
Quite a special fellow that George. Every time you ride him you find a new reason to love him.
Good move with Jazz. A little at a time goes far.
Sounds like a good day despite the cancellations...how can you be 'too' fond of him:)

Wettest August for 100 years Muriel. Not good!
After a quarter mile uphill gallop I had to pull up quite hard to stop him jumping the wall at the top of the field Jean :-)
He's got to go one day Nicola - either that or one of the other two ...
