She knows what she wants!
Tia's girth has got a whole hole tighter. Clearly she knows what she wants and won't eat if she doesn't need to. She is looking well and her summer coat is full of dapples. I've never had a dappled bay before, it's lovely! She schooled OK tonight but we are still battling with the "set" walk. I keep on and on and on and on pushing her out into something better and eventuallly she gets the idea and keeps it. Thankfully the trot transition seems to be sorted and she has stopped attempting to shove her ears down my throat :-).
Tetley isn't sound, he's way off. I haven't ridden him because he is clearly not wanting to loose trot in the barn on the right rein. His hip is raised and he is hopping on his white back foot, the worse hock. But it has hardly any heat in and his back is pretty free. It seems the same as the crisis he had back at New Year and then again a couple of months ago. So a spell of complete lameness on it once every two months seems to be "normal". It's my fault - I told him he could do the farm ride soon and it's set it off!!
I'm busy learning a new test for Saturday. Tia came 25th in the class on Thursday last week. There were 13 who did less well than her, so that's a really creditable performance for first time out, though we knew that already didn't we?

now how did i put this here? very odd.
I think Tia did exceptionally well all round; with a bit more experience under her belt you'll be in the placings and moving on up the grades in no time.
she clearly loves her jumping!!!
