Bloomin' typical!

Another "it's bloomin' typical isn't it?" You search for six weeks for Boa 2's on eBay and they are all different sizes. Plenty of them but not one pair of 2's. Then you buy some, and the day after they arrive, a pair come up on eBay!! They are the old style fastening though - can anyone tell me whether it makes any real difference to them to have a "flap" covering the dial instead of a cap? Trish how on earth did you need 5's?????? Tetley took 5's and he's twice the size of your boys. Surely Iverzon's feet aren't THAT big :-0 They were out on Monday night and I can confirm two effects. The first is that you change Tia's routine and she won't eat. She did not eat a scrap of food either for breakfast or tea.

The second is that they were both wonderfully free and easy, and sound, in the morning. I can assure you this is true, because when I went down the field to catch them yesterday morning, they trotted all the way past me to the top. And when I got half way up again, they trotted all the way down past me to the bottom. And so on for over 5 minutes. I tried to admire the wonderful extensions they were both performing, but somehow my irritation at them (*&*(&^(&&*^ around got the better of me - I wonder why :-)

The weather last night was too bad, according to the housesitter, for them to be out. And it's raining and blowing now, so it doesn't look like they'll be out tonight either. When I am ever going to get the weather to get some training in, I just don't know. And I'm even more frustrated because I can see how much freer they are if they are out in the field all night. But I draw the line at leaving them out there in rain, wind and minus temperatures.

I am off to rest now after a trip when I saw one of my brothers and his two girls last night. They were great and we had a real fun evening. Then I called in on my other brother for an hour and a half on the way home. He spent the entire time talking about his business to my husband (he's a man you see, women know nothing about business! He actually said at one point "Allan will understand ...." and it was as much as I could do to laugh as I told him that there was just a teeny chance that I might just have enough brain to understand too.) If I'd earned a pound for every time he said the word "I" in 5400 seconds we were there I would have earned at least £1000, probably more. And if I had a million pounds for every question he asked about me or my life, I would still be sat here with five quid in my purse.
